How we help you live a larger life

Your journey begins with an Assessment:

The goal of the assessment is to get the full picture. The assessment allows us to fact find and understand all of the events, choices, and results of those that brought you to where you currently are. The assessment begins with but is not limited to:

  • Comprehensive bloodwork

  • Body composition assessment

  • Nervous system assessment

  • Nutritional and lifestyle assessment

Meeting Your Practitioner

You will then meet with your health coach, Jesse O’Brien. His goal will be to deeply understand your current physiology - sleep, relationship with stress, appetite, energy, mood, and digestion. He will take into consideration all of the data from the assessment, and subjective qualifiers of health, and begin to understand the story of how YOU arrived at this state of health.

Putting the plan in to action

After meeting with Jesse, he will formulate a plan of action, a holistic approach utilizing state-of-the-art therapies such as EWOT, PEMF, Red Light Therapy, FLOWpresso, our medicinary and movement and lifestyle practices that follow a Biological Medicine Approach:

The healing power of nature - the body has the inherent ability to not only heal itself and restore health but also to ward off disease. Symptoms are not caused by the invasion of external germs but rather by a manifestation of the body’s attempt to defend and heal itself. Our role is to identify and remove the agents/stresses that block the healing process and bolster the client’s healing capacity and support the creation of a healthy internal and external environment.

Treat the whole person - health and disease result from a complex interaction of physical, mental, emotional, genetic, spiritual, environmental, social, and other factors. The harmonious functioning of all aspects of the individual is essential to health.

First do not harm - The gentler and more non-invasive the therapy, the less disruptive it will be to the client’s integral whole. Whenever possible, avoid suppression of symptoms (expect end-stage life) as suppression may interfere with the healing process. The objective is to work with the client’s inherent self-healing process.

Identify and treat the cause - illness does not occur without a cause and symptoms (nausea, vomiting, headache, rash, fever, etc.) are not the cause of illness. Symptoms are the body’s attempt to defend, adapt, recover, and heal itself. Causes originate on many levels but are often found in the patient’s lifestyle, diet and habits, or emotional state and especially from an imbalanced terrain. When only the symptoms are treated (via palliation), the underlying causes remain untreated (unmanaged) and the client will often develop a more serious, chronic condition.

Prevention is the best cure - Health is a reflection of how we choose to live. A client can't achieve an optimal level of health in an unhealthy environment, eating the wrong foods, not getting enough rest or exercise, etc., and it is the responsibility of the health coach to make the patient aware of these factors. It is then the client’s responsibility to create a world around them, which is most conducive to their best health and well-being.

Doctor as teacher - The word doctor is derived from the Latin word “docere” meaning to teach or to educate. Although Jesse is a health coach, he will serve as a facilitator for each client. As such, it is his responsibility to educate the client and encourage self-responsibility for health. Each client is unique, and we must try to help the client shape their environment and lifestyle to that which is important to them. A cooperative coach-client relationship is essential for full healing as it will require the arduous task of balancing terrain. This may often take several years to achieve which is then followed by a lifetime of maintenance to remain at the same place of their optimal performance, potentially their highest level of wellness, having achieved an understanding of their true purpose in life. It is important to understand that one’s optimal performance does not mean a person will never be ill, but rather based on terrain, they will be in a place to recover (if possible) in as short a time as possible. People who are out of balance (homeostasis) do not recover easily which often leads to chronic, progressive disease. It is also important to understand that there are no incurable diseases, but unfortunately there are incurable clients, and this is often determined when intervention is started. As such, prevention is the key to maintaining one’s optimal performance.
